Everybody is welcome to attend the Business Intelligence Study Group. Please, check covered topics in the [[bi_study_group|course page]]. Study group is from 12:00 until 14:00.

===== Ideas for upcoming seminars (2013) =====


This Friday May 2 (Friday, 12-13pm, SVL300 0.2.11) we resume seminars. The plan is as [[2014plan|follows ]].
===== What is it? =====

Every meeting should start with short news from the department (group news):
  * new projects 
  * new group members
  * celebrations or other things. 
The following three types of presentations should take ~50 minutes (there should be **only one** of these during the session):
  * paper presentation by a Ph.D. student ([[study_group_info|More information]])
  * trial presentation (before going to present a paper at a conference, do a presentation for the group)
  * trial 11 month presentation (for Ph.D. students)  
Another option for presentations (should be short, can be presented **few during** one session):
  * 4 slide "wild" ideas   
  * project proposals 
  * work in progress 
  * tutorials
  * guests

Everyone is welcome to attend the sessions. 
Don't forget to bring your food.
